Ground Floor
From the gravel terrace a glass door opens and you step down into a
spacious L-shaped dining room with a wooden floor and light oak furniture. The stairs lead
up with one turn from the northern end of the dining room. Leading off the dining room is a well equipped galley kitchen fully
fitted with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, and electric kettle. It has
china and glasses, cooking equipment and utensils to cook for 4 people. From the other end of the dining room, a small step
leads up into a bright sunny sitting room with a large fireplace and wood-burning stove,
colour television with Freeview and DVD-player, a comfortable sofa and armchairs.
Upstairs
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built-in cupboard and oak furniture,
bedroom 2 is a single bedroom with dormer window in the eaves of the roof, bedroom 3 is a
spacious room with a single bed and attractive pine furniture. A folding beechwood cot can
be used in any of the bedrooms. The bathroom has a bath, w.c. hand-basin and shower unit.
There is a stair-gate and bedguard, ironing board & iron, and vacuum cleaner stored in
the landing cupboard.
Outside
There is an enclosed gravel terrace with tubs and and garden
furniture perfect for sunny breakfasts. A gas barbeque is provided to cook the
mackerel you have caught or some delicious local steak or lamb chops. A small garden is hidden at the back of the cottage
where there is a revolving washing line. The neighbouring barn houses the washing machine
& tumble drier which need £1 coins for a meter, and a chest deep freeze.
